HOW IT WORKS
IMPORTANT SINGAPORE REQUIREMENTS
SCDF states that Fire Certificate renewal applications must be submitted at least two months before the existing certificate expires. Under the regime effective from 1 April 2026, Fire Certificates with validity start dates on or after that date are generally valid for 36 months unless otherwise stated. Annual inspection and PE certification requirements continue during non-renewal years.
Requirements depend on the premises and the applicable fire safety systems. Always check the latest SCDF guidance and the conditions stated on your building’s certificate.
